知っておきたい！ボランティア関連英単語（続編）

劇場に行った時などに耳にする単語をまとめてみました。

近々ボランティアのトレーニングがあるので知らない単語を予習しています。

ちなみに最初の一つ目は普段もよく使えるのでオススメ♪

1.linger (verb)

stay in a place longer than necessary, typically because of a reluctance to leave.

"she lingered in the yard, enjoying the warm sunshine"

synonyms:

wait around, stay, remain, wait, stay put; More

• spend a long time over (something).

  "she lingered over her meal"
• be slow to disappear or die.

  "the tradition seems to linger on"

2.mezzanine & balconyってどこ？

3.endeavour (verb)

try hard to do or achieve something.

"he is endeavoring to help the Third World"

4.belligernt (adjective)

hostile and aggressive.

"a bull-necked, belligerent old man"

5.usher (noun)

"劇場内を案内する係りの人”
